Description
Plast-O-Matic Series EASMT / EASYMT are direct-acting, normally-closed solenoid valves designed for reliable ON/OFF control of corrosive and high-purity liquids. Their spring-return, direct-acting design requires no minimum operating pressure, making them suitable for applications where differential pressure may be low or unavailable.
A PTFE bellows shaft seal isolates the operating mechanism from the process fluid and eliminates the need for a conventional elastomer shaft seal that may deteriorate when exposed to aggressive chemicals. The PTFE bellows design provides smooth, non-sticking operation and has demonstrated more than two million operating cycles under laboratory conditions.
The bellows also allows the valve to be used in vacuum or pressure service, while the poppet seat provides bubble-tight shutoff. Rugged thermoplastic construction and corrosion-resistant wetted components make the EASMT / EASYMT suitable for acids, caustics, solvents, chlorine solutions and ultra-pure liquid applications.
