Description
Basiks Series S-SV normally closed solenoid valves are designed for reliable automatic ON/OFF control of liquids in pressure, drain and vacuum applications. The direct-acting design requires no minimum pressure differential, making the valve particularly suitable for applications where system pressure may be low or variable.
A PTFE bellows barrier-type dynamic seal separates the operating mechanism from the process fluid and has been tested to over 2,000,000 cycles under laboratory conditions. With no metal components in the wetted area, the S-SV provides an attractive solution for compatible corrosive and chemically aggressive liquid applications.
The UL Listed coil incorporates a Pulse Width Modulation connector that enables continuous-duty operation while running cooler than conventional solenoid designs. The energy-efficient arrangement also reduces current consumption and allows the use of a smaller coil.
