Description
Plast-O-Matic Series MFR Manual Shut-Off Valves are compact, normally-closed self-closing valves designed for hand or foot operation. They are particularly suitable for pure deionized rinse water, corrosive chemicals and ultra-pure liquid applications where reliable manual flow control is required.
The Series MFR can be opened using light palm, foot or knee pressure, making it ideal for applications where an operator needs to keep both hands free while handling or rinsing components. When operating pressure is removed, the valve automatically returns to its normally-closed position.
A double U-cup seal arrangement isolates the spring from the process liquid, while the U-cup seals and poppet seat provide a non-sticking design with bubble-tight sealing. The valve also provides high flow rates with low pressure drop.
Its compact construction requires minimal bench or floor space, and four 1/4"-20 tapped mounting holes allow secure installation. The valve can be mounted in any position to suit the application.
