Plast-O-Matic Series BSDA/BSDAM compact air-operated diaphragm shut-off valves are designed for reliable isolation of highly corrosive and ultra-pure liquids where space is limited. Their PTFE wetted diaphragm provides excellent chemical resistance while helping maintain contamination-free fluid handling.
The compact valve is suitable for pressure and drain applications in chemical plants, commercial laundries, car wash systems and other industrial processes. It is particularly suitable for ultra-pure water and concentrated chemical applications where reliable, non-leaching shut-off performance is required.
Standard BSDA/BSDAM valves operate air-to-open with spring-return-to-close action and can handle operating pressures up to 100 PSI without requiring minimum inlet pressure. The normally closed design provides bubble-tight shut-off in the event of air or electrical failure.
A patented Fail-Dry® safety design allows the valve to continue operating in the event of seal failure, while its million-cycle, non-sticking construction is designed for dependable long-term operation.
