Description
Plast-O-Matic Series HSA Air Operated Pinch Valves provide reliable pneumatic shut-off for slurries, chemicals and high-purity fluids. The valve uses a flexible EPDM sleeve to control the process flow, providing a full-port flow path together with bubble-tight shut-off.
The variable-thickness sleeve design helps prevent twisting and tearing of the pinch element, while the EPDM sleeve has been tested to more than 1,000,000 cycles under laboratory conditions. With no metal parts in the valve construction, the Series HSA is particularly suitable for corrosive chemical environments.
The non-wetted valve body is constructed from Polypropylene, with wetted material options including PVC, CPVC, PP and PVDF. True union connections simplify installation, removal and maintenance.
The Series HSA requires compressed air pressure approximately 45 PSI above the media pressure for operation. Air connections are 1/8" FNPT for the 1/2" valve size and 1/4" FNPT for 3/4" and 1" sizes.
