Description
Watts® ULTRAMIX® TX90 Series thermostatic mixing valves are designed for high-productivity hot water applications requiring accurate and reliable mixed-water temperature control. The TX90 uses a double-regulation system operating on a servo-motor principle to control the mixing of hot and cold water.
Hot and cold water are regulated by two independent valves operating like hydraulic relays. A bimetallic strip continuously senses the mixed-water outlet temperature and adjusts the valves accordingly to maintain the selected temperature. The required mixed-water temperature can be set using the calibrated control knob.
The ULTRAMIX TX90 provides adjustable temperature settings of approximately 10–50°C or 30–70°C depending on configuration, with provision for locking the selected setting. Anti-scald protection automatically shuts off the hot water supply when insufficient cold water is available, helping provide safer operation.
Designed for dependable operation and simplified maintenance, the TX90 incorporates strainers, integrated check valves and an easily removable thermostatic mixing cartridge.
