Description
Watts Series LFMMV thermostatic mixing valves are designed to maintain and limit mixed hot water to a selected temperature for point-of-use and hot water temperature control applications. The LFMMV series provides accurate mixing of hot and cold water and is suitable for residential, commercial and institutional plumbing applications.
The LFMMV can be set to temperatures between 80°F and 120°F, with flow rates ranging from approximately 0.5 gpm to 12 gpm depending on model and operating conditions. The series is listed under ASSE 1017 for hot water source applications, ASSE 1069 for single-pipe tempered water applications and ASSE 1070 for individual or multiple fixture applications.
Constructed from Lead Free® cast copper silicon alloy, the LFMMV uses a double-throttling design to control both hot and cold water supply to the mixed outlet. The solid wax hydraulic thermostat provides reliable temperature control, while integral filter washers and check valves help protect against cross flow.
