Description
Watts® Aegis CO2 Heat Pump is a high-efficiency commercial heat pump water heating solution using natural CO2 (R744) refrigerant for reliable hot water production. Designed for commercial and institutional applications, the system provides an energy-efficient alternative for generating domestic and process hot water.
Aegis CO2 heat pumps are available in Aegis A and Aegis W configurations. Aegis A absorbs heat from the surrounding air, while Aegis W recovers heat from a connected water source, allowing the system to suit different installation and operating requirements.
The Aegis system can produce high-temperature hot water and is suitable for applications such as hotels, hospitals, universities, commercial buildings, industrial facilities and other installations with significant hot water demand.
Using CO2 refrigerant with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 1, the Aegis heat pump provides a solution for projects seeking efficient commercial water heating with a low-GWP refrigerant.
