Description
The Plast-O-Matic Series RVT is a 2-way angle-pattern diaphragm pressure relief valve designed to protect piping systems and process equipment from excessive pressure in corrosive fluid-handling applications.
Its solid, non-sticking PTFE shaft passes through three U-cup seals, providing reliable operation and making the valve suitable for acids and other compatible highly corrosive liquids. The triple U-cup seal arrangement also helps isolate the spring for additional protection.
The RVT features the Plast-O-Matic patented Fail-Dry® advance warning vent, allowing maintenance to be planned if seal performance deteriorates. Its compact angle-pattern configuration provides convenient piping installation, with sizes available from 1/2" through 3".
Relief pressure is infinitely adjustable from 5 PSI to 125 PSI, with a maximum inlet pressure of 150 PSI. The RVT is not recommended for salt solutions or other liquids that may crystallize.
