Description


The Plast-O-Matic Series RVDT/RVDTM is a versatile 2-way inline diaphragm pressure relief and back pressure valve designed for pressure control in demanding chemical and fluid-handling applications.
The valve uses a PTFE diaphragm with highly aggressive liquids to provide contamination-free sealing. Its large diaphragm area provides increased sensitivity and reduced pressure drop under flow conditions, making the RVDT/RVDTM suitable for ultra-pure water, concentrated etchants and other compatible semiconductor process applications.
Depending on the application, the valve can function as a pressure relief valve, bypass valve, back pressure regulator, back pressure valve or anti-siphon valve. This versatility allows a single valve design to perform several pressure-control functions within a fluid-handling system.
A non-wetted U-cup seal provides secondary isolation of the control spring, while the patented Fail-Dry® vent provides visual warning of seal malfunction and allows maintenance to be scheduled before an unexpected shutdown.
