Description
The Plast-O-Matic Series RVD is a compact, direct-acting diaphragm pressure relief valve and backpressure valve designed to protect piping systems and equipment from excessive pressure. Its angle-pattern design and corrosion-resistant thermoplastic construction make it suitable for demanding chemical and fluid-handling applications.
The RVD pressure relief valve uses a single flat diaphragm for quick response and reliable operation. This design is particularly useful in applications where salt crystallization or aggressive process fluids could cause conventional valve designs to stick or malfunction.
The relief pressure is infinitely adjustable from 5 PSI to 150 PSI, with a maximum inlet pressure of 210 PSI. The valve is available in 1/4" and 1/2" pipe sizes and contains no wetted metal parts.
