Description
Watts® Series LF909 Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventers are designed to protect potable water supplies against contamination caused by backpressure and backsiphonage in high-hazard cross-connections.
The LF909 features a compact modular design with replaceable seats for easier servicing and maintenance. Its Lead Free® construction is suitable for potable water applications, while the air-in/water-out relief valve design provides reliable discharge performance under backflow conditions.
The Series LF909 can be installed horizontally and, on selected sizes, vertically in either up-flow or down-flow configurations. A flood sensor can also be incorporated to detect excessive discharge from the relief valve and provide notification through compatible building management or communication systems.
