Description
Watts® Series BA BM Backflow Preventers are designed to protect potable drinking water systems against contamination caused by backflow. The unit helps prevent contaminated water from flowing back into the main water supply by separating the upstream and downstream water systems and discharging to waste when a potentially hazardous backflow condition occurs.
The BA BM features a compact, space-saving design with modular internal components for easier inspection and maintenance. Piston technology in the relief valve eliminates the need for a membrane, simplifying assembly and servicing while helping provide reliable long-term operation. Reduced head loss and easy access further support efficient system operation and maintenance.
