Description
Watts® Series 009 Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventers are designed to protect potable water supplies against contamination caused by backpressure and backsiphonage. The Series 009 is suitable for applications where protection from potentially hazardous cross-connections is required, including irrigation, fire protection and industrial process systems.
The compact modular design features two in-line independent check valves, captured springs and a replaceable check seat with an intermediate relief valve. A single-access cover and top-entry construction provide convenient access to internal components for inspection and maintenance, while large body passages help minimise pressure loss.
