Description
Rusco Spin-Down and Sediment Trapper Filters are designed to remove sand, sediment and other suspended particles from water and fluid-handling systems while providing high flow capacity and convenient maintenance.
The centrifugal spin-down action helps separate heavier particles from the flowing water and directs them toward the lower portion of the filter housing. A clear cover allows operators to visually monitor sediment accumulation, while the reusable screen can be cleaned and returned to service without requiring frequent replacement of disposable filter elements.
Rusco filters are available with polyester and stainless steel screens in various mesh sizes to suit different filtration requirements. Their molded non-corrosive construction makes them suitable for a wide range of water treatment, irrigation, process water and industrial fluid-handling applications.
Selected high-performance Rusco models are also available for chemical applications, while certain models can be used for hot water service up to 200°F (93°C).
