Description


The Plast-O-Matic Series UPR Ultra-Pure Pressure Regulator is an elastomer-free, all-thermoplastic pressure regulator designed for ultra-pure and high-purity fluid handling systems where contamination control and reliable pressure regulation are critical.
The standard non-shutoff UPR design contains no elastomers and will pressure balance under no-flow conditions. Its construction eliminates wetted metal components, while the only metal component is a non-wetted spring protected with a PVDF coating.
Standard PVDF butt-fusion connections are designed for Asahi or GF high-purity piping systems, with flare and other connection options available. The regulator features a variable-area diaphragm for excellent sensitivity and a multi-turn pressure adjustment mechanism for accurate pressure settings.
Designed for maximum flow with minimal downstream pressure loss, the UPR accommodates inlet pressures up to 150 PSI.
For high-purity applications, the standard UPR undergoes an 8-hour hot DI water rinse and CDB procedure, followed by cleaning and double bagging in a Class 100 (ISO 5) clean room.
