Description
The Plast-O-Matic Series PRHU High Purity Pressure Regulator is designed for precise pressure regulation in high-purity and ultra-pure fluid handling systems. It reduces varying inlet pressure of up to 150 PSI to a stable, lower preset downstream pressure, with downstream pressure adjustable from 10 to 125 PSI.
The PRHU features a machined Kynar® 740 PVDF body, metal-ion-free EPDM construction and fused spigots as standard. Its high-purity construction makes it particularly suitable for applications where cleanliness, chemical compatibility and contamination control are critical.
A large-area frictionless rolling diaphragm provides excellent sensitivity, while the balanced-shaft design supports smooth and accurate pressure regulation. The regulator is engineered to provide maximum flow with minimal pressure drop from the selected set pressure. Double U-cup seals help prevent leakage along the shaft and reduce the possibility of pressure creep.
For high-purity service, the PRHU undergoes Plast-O-Matic's proprietary pre-assembly cleaning procedure, followed by an 8-hour cold and 8-hour hot DI water rinse. The product is then final Class 100 cleaned and double bagged.
The Plast-O-Matic Series PRHU is suitable for high-purity and ultra-pure liquid pressure control applications requiring reliable downstream pressure regulation and clean fluid handling.
