Description
Water hammer occurs when fluid flowing through a piping system is suddenly stopped or changes direction, such as when a valve closes rapidly or a pump stops. The resulting pressure waves can travel through the piping system, causing vibration, noise and potentially damaging pressure surges.
The Z-Tide Water Hammer Arrester is designed to absorb these sudden pressure changes and reduce hydraulic shock within the piping system.
