Description


The Plast-O-Matic Series CKM is a self-sealing diaphragm check valve designed to prevent reverse flow in corrosive and industrial liquid handling systems. Unlike conventional ball check valves, the CKM sealing action does not depend on gravity, mounting position or reverse flow, providing reliable sealing across a wide range of installations.


The diaphragm design contains no internal sliding or loose components that can slam, vibrate or chatter, resulting in quiet and dependable operation. The diaphragm repeatedly returns to the same seating position, helping provide consistent leak-free sealing and extended service life.


With a low cracking pressure of approximately 1.0 to 1.5 PSI, the CKM is suitable for applications involving acids, caustics, chlorine solutions and other compatible process liquids. Its union nut construction also allows easier inspection and valve removal with minimal piping disassembly.
