Description

Plast-O-Matic Series FC constant flow control valves are designed to maintain a predetermined liquid flow rate despite changes in inlet pressure. Automatic operation helps provide consistent flow without manual adjustment, making the Series FC suitable for water treatment, chemical processing and industrial fluid-handling applications.
The Series FC flow control valve is particularly suitable for corrosive and ultra-pure liquids, with no metal components in contact with the process liquid. Standard flow ranges are available from 1/4 GPM to 120 GPM, with operating inlet pressure changes from 15 to 120 PSI (1 to 8 bar).
Series FC is recommended wherever flow rate must be maintained regardless of unplanned or fluctuating demand elsewhere in the system. Installing a Series FC prior to each point of use can help reduce surges and sudden drops in flow.
Important: Series FC flow controls are designed for liquids similar in viscosity to water. Chemical compatibility should be checked for the intended fluid, as diaphragm swelling in certain liquids may affect flow-rate accuracy. An in-line strainer or filter should be installed before the flow control valve when suspended solids are present, and for applications below 1.0 GPM (3.8 LPM).
