Plast-O-Matic Series GGMU Ultra-Pure Gauge Guards are designed to provide pressure or vacuum monitoring while protecting instrumentation from direct contact with sensitive process fluids. The design is particularly suitable for ultra-pure and contamination-sensitive fluid-handling applications.
The GGMU features an in-line configuration that eliminates dead-leg areas where bacteria or contaminants could accumulate. Non-contaminating, non-pigmented virgin polypropylene or Kynar® PVDF construction provides excellent chemical compatibility, while a flexible elastomer spool transfers process pressure or vacuum to the connected gauge.
True union connections allow convenient installation and removal, while the Plast-O-Pure® gasket provides crevice-free sealing at the end connectors. PVC construction, food-grade elastomers and various piping connection options are also available to suit different process requirements.
