- • Reduces replacement costs – no internal or external metal components; ideal for aggressive environments.
- • Placed at the high point of a piping system, this innovative valve will vent gas as it occurs. A unique float/actuating lever allows the vent orifice to open when gas is present. After gas vents, liquid forces the vent to close. Whenever gas accumulates, the valve will re-open until the gas is vented.
- • All-plastic construction designed for sodium hypochlorite, ozone systems, or any liquids prone to outgassing.
- • Series DGV is designed for systems that continuously generate trace amounts of gasses. For system start-up requiring rapid expulsion of larger volume of air or gasses, see Series ARV.
Description
Plast-O-Matic Series DGV degassing valves are designed for continuous automatic venting of gases that accumulate in pressurised piping systems. Installed at a high point in the piping system, the valve automatically opens as gas collects and closes as liquid reaches the valve.
The Series DGV features all-plastic construction with no internal or external metal components, making it suitable for aggressive and corrosive environments. It is particularly suited to applications such as sodium hypochlorite and ozone systems, as well as other liquids that continuously generate or release gases.
For applications requiring rapid release of larger volumes of trapped air or gas during system start-up, a Plast-O-Matic Series ARV air release valve may be more suitable. Contact Watercare Products for assistance selecting the appropriate venting solution for your application.
