Description
The Plast-O-Matic Series CKS is a spring-loaded poppet check valve designed to provide reliable reverse-flow protection in larger industrial piping systems. Its self-sealing design does not depend on gravity, mounting position or reverse flow, allowing dependable shut-off across a wide range of installation conditions.
A PFA-encapsulated stainless steel spring provides positive closing force and bubble-tight sealing, while the spring-loaded poppet closes rapidly to help minimise sudden backflow and associated water hammer. The poppet repeatedly returns to the same seating position, supporting consistent sealing and dependable long-term operation.
With a low cracking pressure of approximately 1.0 to 1.5 PSI and rugged thermoplastic construction, the Series CKS is suitable for compatible acids, caustics, chlorine solutions, industrial water and other corrosive process liquids.
