Description
The Plast-O-Matic Series CKD is a compact diaphragm check valve designed to permit flow in one direction while preventing reverse flow in liquid handling systems. Its flexible elastomer sealing disc provides sensitive low-pressure operation, making the CKD particularly suitable for applications where only minimal pressure is available to open the valve.
The self-centering disc consistently returns to its sealing position to provide reliable shut-off and long service life. During operation, inlet flow continuously flushes the elastomer disc and sealing area, helping prevent particles from accumulating and reducing the possibility of leakage.
With its compact design and very low opening pressure requirement, the Series CKD is suitable for chemical processing, water treatment, dosing and other industrial fluid-handling applications requiring reliable prevention of reverse flow.
