Description
Plast-O-Matic Series MBV/TMBV manual ball valves are heavy-duty thermoplastic true union ball valves designed for reliable shut-off and flow isolation in water treatment, chemical processing and industrial piping applications.
The MBV/TMBV design features a heavy-duty large diameter shaft, dual shaft seals, PTFE thrust bearings and PTFE seats with O-rings to provide smooth operation, low friction and reliable sealing. The trunnion design allows flow and pressure in either direction while reducing stress on the ball and valve stem.
True union ends allow convenient installation and removal from the piping system, while the union design also enables maintenance without disconnecting adjoining pipework. The smooth flow path helps minimise pressure loss.
Available in sizes from 1/2" through 11/2", with 2" having a tapered port. Material options include PVC, CPVC, Natural Polypropylene, Kynar PVDF and Red Kynar PVDF for compatibility with a wide range of water and chemical services.
